Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler w/ Jack Hole - eZ-Latch - Black - 2inch Ball - Bolt On - 10K... Item # DM14793-81... The coupling will not fit correctly on a 2 inch ball...to tight when trying to get it to lock in place...and difficult to get off as well...ruined my trailer security ball lock.

The Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler w/ Jack Hole # DM14793-81 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for a hitch ball with a 2 inch diameter. To couple or uncouple your trailer you will simply lift the eZ-Latch in the upward position.
If you were having difficulty coupling or uncoupling your trailer so much that it ruined your hitch ball you may want to make sure that you had the eZ-Latch in the upwards position and that you do not have a 2-5/16 inch diameter hitch ball that you are using.
