I would be glad to help you with your towing situation and what would be the best setup you can use. It will require more parts than just the base plates for your vehicle. If you can flat tow your vehicle, you will need to purchase base plates, wiring for lights, and a supplemental braking system as required by law.

First, I would recommend to check your owners manual or with the Suzuki dealer to see if your 2011 Suzuki SX4 can be flat towed. I have information that says the 2011 Suzuki SX4 with an automatic transmission can only be towed with a tow dolly. A tow dolly is a trailer that will tow a vehicle with two of its tires off of the ground. It does say that the five speed manual transmission can be flat towed.

If you can flat tow your vehicle, I would recommend to use the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit, part # BX3522. I spoke with my contact at Blue Ox and they confirmed that it will fit the 2011 Suzuki SX4 as long as it is not the Sport model. These base plates will attach to your Blue Ox Aventa tow bar. To use the Roadmaster base plates # 521019-1, you would have to buy an extra adapter to be able to use them with your Blue Ox tow bar.

The wiring you will need for lighting on the towed vehicle is the Blue Ox Tail Light Wiring Kit, part # BX8869.

The supplemental braking system you can use in the towed vehicle would be the Blue Ox Patriot RF Braking System, part # BRK2010. This braking system will apply the brakes in your towed vehicle at the same rate that you apply them in your RV.

I am including links to some FAQ pages on tow bar braking systems, base plates, and a basic overview of towing your vehicle.
