Will License Bracket Mounted Backup Sensor Work With License Plate on Rear Hatch?

I have a Jeep Renegade. The license plate is mounted up on the hatch rather than on the bumper. Will this product work effectively?

Yes, the Hopkins Backup Sensor System # HM60100VA will work effectively mounted on the license plate bracket which is on the rear hatch of your Jeep Renegade. There are even specific instructions provided for vehicles with license plates on the lift gate.
