I have a light boat trailer that was homemade and the frame is 2x2 inches. Will this item fit? It looks like the straps have holes that are close together but the two closest holes on the mounting bracket itself look to be be about 3 inches apart?

Fulton Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack with Fixed Length - 400 lbs Item # F1410050149 would require some modification to fit a 2 x 2 inch frame. It could be done but it would void the jack warranty. I recommend using trailer jack # FTJ120W0301. It comes with a bracket that will need to be welded onto the trailer frame (anywhere it touches the frame). This is going to be the best option for you since the frame is too short for a bolt around jack.
