How to Select Replacement Trailer Lights

Question:

I AM LOOKING FOR A LIGHT SAE AIST09 OPTRONICS. IS THAT A GOOD PART NUMBER?

Expert Reply:

Trailer light part numbers are usually found on the base of the light, rather than on the light lens. If you can find a part number on the base you can search our site by entering that number into our search box.

The codes on a lens are often DOT numbers rather than actual manufacturer part number. We do carry many brands of trailer lights, including lots of Optronics products, and the page I linked for you will let you select the type, size, brand and color of light you want.

All you need to do is click on the attributes or features you need. Choose the style of light, such as a clearance or tail light; then select the light shape, bulb type (such as halogen or LED), color and type of mount. You can even search using the light's dimensions.

For example, for an amber LED-type Optronics clearance light you might use # AL91AB.
