Recommended Electric Over Hydraulic System for Boat Trailer

Question:

I am wanting to switch from surge to EOH brakes on my boat trailer. I currently have an tie down model 125 actuator. Can you tell me what coupler could replace that with the same bolt pattern so I dont have to drill new holes?

Unfortunately, I can't find any information on the bolt hole mounting locations on your Tie Down model 125 actuator. So, I've linked the page to our 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch hitch ball couplers that are bolt on so you can see what will fit your measurements. Each of our product descriptions should tell you the distance between the mounting holes. If you want to send me your measurements and trailer weight, I'd be happy to give you a recommendation.

For your EOH brakes, I recommend the HydraStar Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator w/ Breakaway and 7-Way RV Harness - 1,000 psi # HS381-9065 for drum brakes or # HS381-9067 for disc brakes.
