Can Tilt Pins on Swagman XP Folding Bike Rack S64950 be Replaced with Locking Pins
Question:
The pin that is removed to fold the bike rack down appears to be just a hitch pin, can this be replaced with a locking type hitch pin? In the picture it looks like you can remove both pins and remove the rack and bike together, this would be very easy to steal. If a locking hitch pin will work can you give me a part number. I am aware of the anti rattle bolt for the hitch and have that part number. Thanks.

You certainly could replace the 1/2 inch pins in the mast of the Swagman XP bike rack with locking pins. I recommend Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - Padlock Style for 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver Item # 5200. This is a 1/2 inch pin with a span of 3-1/8 inches. I have linked a video review of this lock for you.
