Troubleshooting B&W Custom Headache Rack w/ LED Disabling Rear Sensors on 2017 Ford F-350

Question:

When hooking into tow pkg wiring for headache rack the vehicle picks it up as a trailer, and disables rear sensors. Also shows you have a trailer connected at all times.

I spoke with my contact at B&W regarding the Custom Headache Rack # BWPUCP7500BA referenced in your question. He stated that on your 2017 Ford F-350, you will just need to wire the pigtail into the actual truck light wires on the vehicle, as going to the 7-Way on the 2017 disable the rear sensors as you mentioned. Wiring directly to the truck light wires will allow the truck to operate as normal and it will not act as if there is a trailer connected.

The green wire is for the passenger side turn signal and brakes. The yellow wire is for the driver side turn and brake. The brown wire is for clearance and the white wire is for ground.
