We have the Replacement Heavy Duty Landing Gear Master Leg for Lippert Components Landing Gear # LC241846. This is a direct replacement for your system now that Lippert has bought out Atwood. This will simply bolt into place using your already existing mounts. I've attached the installation details to assist.

It sounds like the screw itself is damaged if the motor and gears are turning but the leg isn't moving. Atwood no longer is in the 5th wheel landing gear business so I recommend replacing your landing gear completely. The reason you would…

The only difference between the two part numbers is that the #RVLG-8000 does not include the manual crank handle and the part #RVLG-8HDL does include it. Aside from that it's the exact same landing gear set.

The Lippert part number you referenced is for the Ground Control 2.0 system which you'd have to use the part #LC241845 as a replacement for. There isn't a Stromberg part number that will work.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
