Will the Draw-Tite Hitch # 75210 fit a 2006 Dodge Sprinter with a Factory Step Bumper
Question:
Does it matter which rear bumper I have on my sprinter for this hitch to work? Currently I have the factory rear step bumper. Thank you

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Class III 2 Inch Hitch, part # 75210, is for a 2006 Dodge Sprinter with a 140 inch or 158 inch wheelbase and either single or dual rear wheels. It will not fit the 118 inch wheelbase vehicle.
To fit the Sprinter with the dual rear wheels the width between the frame rails will need to measure 35-1/4 inches.
On the 2006 Dodge Sprinter, the Draw-Tite hitch # 75210 will fit if you have the factory bumper that is molded to match the design of the vehicle. It will not fit your Sprinter if you have a metal step bumper that sticks out from the vehicle.
If the Draw-Tite hitch # 75210 will work for your vehicle you will also want the following items for towing.
Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount, part # AMSC2
Tow Ready 1-7/8 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19260, or Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19247
Hidden Hitch Pin and Clip, part # PC3
Wiring Harness, part # C59496 or Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118381, if you have a factory tow package.
I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Draw-Tite hitch for the 2006 Dodge Sprinter.
