Hello! Do you have the part number for the ball socket that fits the Thule 14936 hinge? I have the Sears XCargo carrier that needs hinge replacements, and I want to use the Thule 14936 hinge and ball sockets. Thank you!

The replacement hinge that Thule recommends for the Sears X-Cargo cargo box is part # TH14933. The other similar hinge part you referenced, item # TH14936, will also fit but the tension of part # TH14933 is closer to that of the original part.

We do offer a replacement Spring Hinge for the Sears X-Cargo Sport-20 rooftop boxes, part #TH14933. The part #TH14936 you referenced is not an ideal fit for your Sears X-Cargo Sport-20 due to the stiffness of the spring.

We have the replacement bolts for the lid lifter hinges with the part #TH24FR. For the support tube cylinder you'd need the part #TH74FR, for the lifter part #TH14936, and for the support tube spacer #TH84FR.

The difference between the Thule hinges or struts #TH14936 and #TH14933 is the spring tension. Both of these hinges will work for your Sears X Cargo Sport 20 lid. However, the #TH14936 includes better springs.
