Bike Rack Distance From Pin Hole to Rack for 2012 Lexus GX 460
Question:
Hi, I have a 2012 Gx460. Which Hitch bike rack has the shortest Shank length or Pin hole to end of rack. Most racks protrude too far to fit the Truck into the garage without removing the rack. Thanks

For garage clearance issues, a hanging bike rack with folding arms will be your best option, and the rack that is going to give you the most room will be the Kuat Beta # B202-2. When the arms are folded down, it is 13-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthermost part of the rack.
You may also need a bike frame adapter bar # 64005 if your bike is dual-suspension, has a step-through frame or you want to carry a small children's bike. The bar will give those bikes a horizontal mounting point so they can be carried by the rack.
