Adapter Recommendation to Go From 4-Way on Vehicle to 7-Way on Trailer
Question:
I have a 2007 sienna. I bought a tent trailer that has a 7 pin trailer plug. My van is set up with 4 plug flat connector. Will any adapter work on the vehicle? Eventually I may wire with electric brakes. Until then which adapter would you suggest I use? Thanks

All you need to convert a 4-way to a 7-way is the part # 37185. This plugs into the 4-way of your Sienna and then gives you a 7-way for your trailer to operate the trailer taillights.
If you ever wanted to upgrade to a brake controller you could pretty easily too.
