RV Rated Motorcycle Carrier that Can Carry a Moped
Question:
looking to purchase a moped trailer hitch carrier for an RV

If you would like a motorcycle carrier that will work on a motorhome, I recommend looking at the Ultra-Fab Motorcycle Carrier, # UF48-979033. We were informed by Ultra-Fab that it is okay to use this carrier on a motorhome or trailer.
The reason some hitch accessory manufacturers do not recommend using products on trailers or motorhomes is because the trailer hitch on a trailer or motorhome is further away from the rear axle than it is on trucks, vans and SUVs. This creates more movement and bounce for the accessory. It is similar to sitting in the back seat on a school bus. The product manufacturers have determined that some of their products cannot handle the additional movement.
