Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch and Motorcycle Carrier Recommendation for a Cougar Lite Fifth Wheel
Question:
I have a Cougar lite fifth wheel that Im wanting to install a hitch that can support a 300lb dirt bike. I know there is a lot of bouncing on the back of fifth wheels and I dont want to have it do damage to the trailer or fall off and hurt someone behind me. Do you guys have a hitch that can support a motorcycle in that way? Thanks

For a high capacity hitch you are going to need a multi-fit RV hitches like the # 41990 that has a 16k capacity. This is a weld on hitch that would require either the 7 inch drop brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916.
If you would like a motorcycle carrier that will work on a motorhome, I recommend looking at the Ultra-Fab Motorcycle Carrier, # UF48-979033. We were informed by Ultra-Fab that it is okay to use this carrier on a motorhome or trailer.
