Hitch Bike Rack Recommendation for Ground Clearance on a 2015 Toyota Sienna XLE

Question:

I am trying to determine by installing this hitch will it keep hitting the surface. When checking with dealer, they mentioned that toyota does not recommend installing hitch with this model because of its low profile and likelihood of hitting the concrete each time you up a driveway on a slope or something like that? Could you please advise?

I really like the Saris SuperClamp EX part # SA4025F for ground clearance. It has a decent rise in the shank at 5 inches (which is a couple more inches than most racks) and the bikes are held pretty close together which means less of an angle that can drag. This rack can also fit 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch hitches and weighs only 35 lbs. Check out the review video I attached as well.

I attached a review video of this rack that shows it demoed on a 2015 Sienna just like yours. We found it fit well. What's also nice about platform rack in terms of ground clearance is that if you were to scrape somehow the rack would hit the ground and not any portion of the bike rack like what would happen with a hanging style rack.
