Tail Light Lens Replacement For Peterson Light PM 440-151
Question:
I have a broken tail light lens PM 440 151. It is 2inch x 2.75. I found various questions and responses, but the recommended lens has holes and screws. Mine was a snap-in lens with no screw holes. Is that one available? Thank you!

For your broken Peterson PM 440 151 lens, the replacement part actually does have the screw holes. I spoke with my contact at Peterson and the correct replacement lens is the Peterson Replacement Side Marker # 55-15R. In the manufacturing process when the lights are being assembled the side lights are snapped in via machinery, however, when they need to be replaced they do need to be screwed into place. So the holes are there for this purpose.
There are entry points for the screws under the lens that you will see when you pop it out. Peterson does not make a snap-in replacement lens for this light.
