Recommended Wiring Harness and Installing a Trailer Hitch on 2016 Chevrolet Malibu
Question:
How do I find someone to install the C12185 on my 2016 Chev Malibu in my area Houston, TX? Also, what light kit do you have to attached to the 2016 Malibu for a 4 wire hookup trailer.

The Curt Class II Receiver Hitch # C12185 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. The installation can be performed fairly easily by any local auto shop. No drilling is required, however the heat shield will need to be modified/trimmed and the exhaust will be temporarily lowered. The estimated installation time is around 50 minutes for an experienced mechanic.
I have included the written installation instructions that you can reference.
Keep in mind that with any non-trailer loads such as bike racks and cargo carriers, Curt requires the use of stabilizing straps like # 18050.
To install a 4-Way connector on your 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, I recommend the Curt T-Connector # C56387 if you do not have the Premier model or # C56313 if your vehicle is the Premier model. Both of these harnesses will plug directly into the built-in ports behind the driver and passenger side tail lights (inside the trunk) on your vehicle. I have included the installation instructions for you to review.
One final part you will need to tow a trailer is a ball mount. I have attached an article that explains how to choose the correct size ball mount in order to tow your trailer level as well as a link that will take you to our available selection. I have also included a couple of articles on towing a trailer that you might find helpful.
