Skid Wheel Recommendation for a 2014 Forest River Grey Wolf

Hello: I have a 2014 Grey Wolf Forest River 29 foot bunkhouse travel trailer. It is 34 feet long bumper to hitch. It is a low profile travel trailer, and I have bottomed out a few times traveling across the country. The drag bars on the bottom and tail end of the frame were a blessing as they prevented any frame damage. I was about to have them replaced and repaired when a neighbor told me to place skid wheels instead. I found some on your website. Can I ask you for a recommendation as to which skid wheels you recommend? I was thinking of the 6 inch skid wheels, but your site seems to recommend the 4 inch wheels. Your thoughts?

Generally speaking, skid wheels are selected based on the length of the trailer. But since your trailer is fairly close to the ground the 4 inch diameter skid wheels # UF48-979011 would be what I would go with. If you went with the 6 inch diameter wheels # UF48-979013 they would decrease ground clearance and make contact before the 4 inch wheels.
