Can the Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels # UF48-979011 Be Bolted on With U-Bolts
Question:
Hello, We have a 31.5 ft travel trailerCoachman 276 RKS and would like to add the 6 inch swivel skid wheels. Can we bolt onto the frame with U-bolts, or do the plates need to be welded onto the frame pls? Im reading the reviews and its seems mixed. If U-bolts can work what size U-bolts are needed? Your advice is appreciated.

The recommended installation method for the Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels # UF48-979011 that you referenced is to weld the mounting bracket to the trailer frame and then bolt the wheel assembly to it. However, if you check out the install instructions link I attached there are instructions on how to use U-bolts to install this kit are included.
The U-bolts would need to be 2-3/4 inches wide.
