Picking up a new toy hauler 5th wheel in a few days. Thinking of upgrading the standard pin box. Had a Trail Air on my previous unit. Thinking of the Flexair. The new unit has. Lippert 1621HD. What would be the correct Flex Air part number?

Since we know you have a Lippert 1621HD on your trailer we can easily pick you out a cushioned pin box.

The Flex Air part # LC369535 will be what you need. It has a 21k capacity plus has two forms of cushioning for the pin box which will work great to smooth out your ride quality.

I checked with our contacts at Trailair and the correct torque figure for the pivot bolt of your Trailair pin box is 50 ft lbs.
