Question:

I have a 36foot pace with 500watt halogen exterior bucket lights. I would like to replace them LEDs but wanna make sure they put out about the same amount of light I do run this trailer off a generator so would like free up some of the 1000 watts from the halogens Thank you for any advice

An individual LED type light may not put out as much light as certain individual halogen lights do, but because, as you noted, LEDs use so little power you can use more of them. You could potentially BOTH increase your overall light output and still save power, leaving more of the generator's capacity to operate other devices. Another advantage of LED lighting is reduced waste heat (a result of the LEDs' efficiency).

The linked page displays all LED type trailer utility lights. These include waterproof LED strip light # BUL69CB from Optronics, and other types like the round flush-mount # BUL43CB. For a super-bright output of more than 3000 raw lumens we offer items like the pedestal-mount weather-resistant Vision X # DURA-660 which uses only 30 watts. Halogen lights typically use 50-watts or more.
