Before purchasing a weight distribution system you'll want to make sure the trailer hitch receiver on your 1969 Buick Electra is rated for weight distribution.
If it is then you'll need to find the trailer's loaded and ready to tow tongue weight to choose the correct system. Once you have the trailer's loaded tongue weight, add it to the amount of weight you add behind the Electra's rear axle.
Then choose an appropriately rated system. For example, the Equal-I-zer # EQ37100ET is rated for a total tongue weight between 600 to 1,000 pounds.
If you find your total tongue weight and would like a specific recommendation let me know.
