Comparing Hitch Sizes Available for 2015 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen
Question:
Im looking to get a hitch for my 2015 VW Sportwagen TDI. Your website has 4 options available including Ecohitch 306-X7315 which is listed as Class III. Is this accurate as it still has the same tongue and towing weight as the others? If they are all Class I, could you provide me some advice on the differences between the 4? Thanks,

The capacities are the same between all of the hitches we offer for your 2015 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen (2,000 lbs total trailer and 200 lbs tongue weight), but the ones listed as a Class III like the part # 306-X7315 do have a 2 inch opening.
Since more accessories are made for the 2 inch hitch size that would be the route I would go.
