Chevy Brake Controller Wiring Adapter Connections
Question:
chevy oem brake wiring adapter has #12 red & blue, #16? brown, black &bluelight blue?. Please help with correct match to prodigy harness which has #12 blue & black, #14 red & white.

The adapter would be connected to the controller as follows: the red adapter wire would connect to the black (12V feed) on the controller. The light blue adapter lead connects to the red (stop light switch feed) on the brake controller. The black adapter wire connects to the white ground wire on the controller, and the dark blue adapter connects to the blue (brake output) controller wire. The brown wire on the adapter is for an illumination circuit, and is not used. Just tape it off and tuck it up out of the way.
