What is the Difference Between the Ultra-Fab Stabilizer Jacks # UF48-979002 and # UF48-97006
Question:
Are these two identical, with the exception that UF48-979002 with the handle? If so, isnt it cheaper to buy the handle separately? Also, my 5er when level sits 20inch off the ground. Are these jacks the best length? Ill be using a block/pad underneath them. Lastly, my 5er has I-beaminch type of supports under the trailer, not any sort of C or a way to attach a u-bolt. Would I just drill into the beam to attach? What size hardware would be the best? Other info...my trailer is 37, approx 10-11k lbs. Thanks!

Both Ultra-Fab Scissor Jacks, # UF48-979002 and # UF48-979006, are mechanically similar. Both jacks have a 24 inch lift and both jacks have a capacity of 6,500 lbs.
The real difference between the two part numbers # UF48-979006 is sold a piece and # UF48-979002 are sold in the pair.
The jack's mount has multiple hole pattern to allow the jack to fit multiple applications. Drill mounting holes to match bolt pattern on jack mount. Hardware is not include, but 5/16 inch bolts are recommend when installing in the trailer frame.
Both of jacks have a lift of 24 inches. We also have a model, # UF48-979031, that has a lift of 30 inches if you think 24 inches will not be tall enough for your trailer ground clearance. Blocks can be used to gap the distance, since these are only stabilizing jack and none of the full trailer weight will be put on the jacks.
