Dimensions of Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2005 Ford E-350 Van
Question:
You have a picture on in the QandA section that shows dimensions for this hitch. The 38-1/2 is that between the steel rails or the bolt hole centers ? My 2005 E-350 looks more like 39-1/2 between the bolts not 38-1/2. Just want to confirm before I order, thanks.

I've attached the picture you're referring to of the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41906.
The 38-1/2 and 38-5/8 measurements from side to side are from the bolt holes center on center. I went out to our warehouse and verified the measurement.
The hitch is confirmed to fit the 2005 Ford E-350 van as well as the cutaway model as long as the bolt holes line up.
If you need a wiring harness for the van I recommend the Curt # C56020. This will provide the 4-way connector. It plugs in behind the tail lights. If you need a 7-way connector because your trailer has brakes use our # ETBC7 kit once you have the 4-way installed. This kit includes everything to install a brake controller as well.
