Which Hitch Will Fit a 2004 E-350 Cab and Chassis with 14 Foot Box Truck Body

Question:

Sorry I should have been more clear - this is an E350 super duty cutaway chassis - (a commercial chassis) with a 14' cargo box with roll up door.

For a 2004 Ford E-350 Cab and Chassis the Draw-Tite # 41906 is a custom fit, but you will need to make sure that the bolt holes are 38-5/8 inches from frame to frame in order for it to fit your particular model. While this hitch is a custom fit for the E-350 cab and chassis, it's possible that your box truck body may not have that hole spacing on the frame so you will want to confirm this.

I've linked an installation video that can be used as a rough guide, since we don't have any videos of this being installed on the cab and chassis version. If you measure the distance between the mounting holes on the frame and they don't match up to 38-5/8", let me know what you do find and I'm happy to see if we can locate an alternative solution.

Thank you for the clarification! Since that is the case with your E-350, I reached out to my contacts over at Curt and Reese and the only styles of hitches that can be made to fit a service body truck like yours are multi-fit RV hitches like the # 41990 that has a 16k capacity. This is a weld on hitch that would require either the 7 inch drop brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916. You'll want to measure how far down you need the hitch to drop to clear the rear end, but this would be the best available solution to weld on a hitch to your E-350 cutaway.
