Left Turn Signal of 2016 Ford F-250 Stops Working When Using Ford LED Trailer Hitch Cover

I purchased an CR-007F Ford LED Lighted Trailer Cover. When I plug it into my 2016 F250 it makes my Left Turn Signals Fail..I get a warning and the turn signal will not work???

It sounds like your 2016 Ford F-250 senses the load of Ford LED Hitch Cover # CR-007F but since the power draw is so low it thinks there is an issue.
The only solution to this we've seen is to install load resistors, like # DI34ZR, to simulate more power draw.
Another possibility is you could have a short on your 4-way trailer connector. Make sure it's clean and free of any corrosion. You can also test each function of the 4-way connector with a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to make sure it's functioning properly in the first place.
