Will Pin Box be Damaged After Removing Andersen 5th-Wheel-to-Goosneck Coupler Adapter
Question:
I bought a fifth wheel a few years back. I bought the Ranch Hitch Universal AM3100 to put on the fifth wheel. I have the BandW Turnover on my 2008 Chevrolet 3500HD, single wheel, long bed. I am wanting to buy the BandW Companion Hitch and use that since I dont pull a stock trailer anymore. Question is will I have any problems after unbolting the gooseneck hitch off the pin box of the fifth wheel since there will be bolt holes left? Will the pin box be weak.

I spoke with Andersen and they said the integrity of your pin box will not be reduced after removing the # AM3100 adapter.
Once it's removed you'll be able to use the B&W Companion # BWRVK3500 in your truck's bed to tow the fifth wheel trailer.
