Can a 2017 Honda Fit w/ Manual Transmission be Flat Towed Behind a RV

Question:

I am about to buy a Honda Fit to tow behind my 2016 Navion Winnebago RV. I will be getting the manual transmission. I will also be buying the Blue Ox Hitch, light and brake products. Before I fully commit I need to be reassured that the Fits transmission can be put fully in neutral. I dont want to have to worry about taking precautions of cooling the transmission every 500 miles, etc., etc. Need advice ASAP....thanks...

I checked the owners manual for the 2017 Honda Fit and it states that the manual transmission model can be flat towed behind your motorhome.

The procedure for prepping the vehicle for towing are listed on page 308 of the manual. The procedure is as follows:

1. Shift to N ( neutral ).
2. Release the parking brake.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the accessory position or press the Engine Start/Stop button if equipped. Make sure the steering wheel does not lock.
4. Turn off all electrical devices and do not use any accessory power sockets.

The manual also states that you do not exceed 65 mph when towing
