SnapRing TireSavers In Use

Worried about the tires on your popup dry rotting in the intense desert sun during a long camping trip? These durable covers protect the tire-and-wheel assemblies from dust, dirt, and the elements while your RV, camper, or trailer is parked or stored for an extended period of time. By keeping your tires covered, it'll prevent the sidewall from prematurely cracking and causing a blowout on the highway. This will extend the life of your tires, so you won't have to unexpectedly budget in a costly tire replacement.

SnapRing TireSavers Vinyl Material

This heavy-duty, flannel-backed vinyl material will hold up against rain showers, UV rays, dirt, and animals. And the material is easy to wipe clean before putting it away at the start of the camping season.

Securing the Covers onto Your Tire-and-Wheel Assemblies

These covers are quick and easy to install. If you have larger tire-and-wheel assemblies, it's recommended to lay the covers in the sun for a few minutes. This will let the material expand slightly, so it'll fit over your tires more easily.

SnapRing TireSavers Spring Steel Snap Ring

Simply stretch the internal spring-steel snap ring and slide it around the back of the tire. When you let go, the ring will snap back together, keeping a firm grip on your tires to prevent the cover from flapping in the wind. This snap ring design prevents you from having to crawl onto the ground to secure straps, bungees, or additional hardware, as you would have to with other covers.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Snap Ring Tire savers Tire Covers. These are available for a wide range of tire sizes ranging from 19 inches to 42 inches in diameter. They are available in both black and white, and come in a quantity of two.If you own a motor home or trailer, and you've experienced a problem such as dry rot, this is going to be the perfect solution to keep that at bay. And these are very user-friendly to install too. Most tire covers you have out there, you have to reach behind, tie together bungee cords, or hook in loop straps. This one just has that simple snap ring design, and it just pops right into place. These are heavy duty tire covers that will help protect your tires once you've parked your RV, from dirt, acid rain, and even animals. And while we have this installed on a motor home right now, this will work on other applications as well. This will work with your travel trailers, your boat trailers, or your car trailers as well.

Cleaning these is very simple too. You simply take a nylon brush or cloth, and you clean off with some soap and water, and then you rinse it off and let it dry. They do not recommend you put this is in the washer or the dryer, 'cause that could actually damage the cover itself. And also, if you wanna use a vinyl protectorate that you may find, you can also use that if desired. When it comes to customer comments, Sheila says, It's well made. Lee L. Says, I was impressed with them, and how easy they we're to install. Now that we've gone over some of the features, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. It's a very simple, easy installation. You parked your RV for a while, and you wanna protect your tires.

So, we'll take the rings here, extend them out, and simply wrap around the tire. And as it gets around the tire to the back side of it, just let the ring do its work, and you're good to go. Very easy. And now that we showed you how easy they we're to install, they're just as easy to take off.Simply go to the back, pull the ring out, continue to do so around the tire. And that will do it for a look at the Snap Ring Tire savers Tire Covers.

Fit tightly and do not move in our New Mexico winds. I’ll order more for another trailer.

These are a wonderful cover for tires! But I ordered the wrong size! Need to send them back and get bigger ones!

Delivery was within 3 to 4 days from time ordered, and packaging was good.Protects the tires on my sport utility trailer from damaging UV rays, animal urine, and acid rain.I Like the split ring feature, as it makes installing over tires easy, and is a nice snug fit so wind isn't a problem blowing them off. They look great too. Nice flannel lining on the back side of the covers as well. I'm very pleased!

by:

I like how these are attached. No reaching around tire to connect a cord.

by:

These trailer tire covers are an awesome product and provide great UV protection for tires!

by:

I went through the questions that help you determine which is the best product. It made the difference because the covers I found looking in various locations and blogs would not have fit properly. The eTrailer questions directed me to the larger ones and they fit well. The covers themselves look to be well constructed and will work for my applicaitons.

I bought 2 SnapRing Tiresavers for my BMW X4 when it rains. The wheels on the vehicle are large and rainwater bounces off the pavement and rusts the brake discs. If I drove every day, this wouldn't be an issue, but I don't. The wheel covers are amazing and easy to use. I bought 2 more this spring. Now I can cover all four wheels when it rains... which seems to be about every third day this June in Alaska.

I love doing business with etrailer! Service is quick and always professional. Most recently I had the pleasure of being assisted by Sheila C. What a great help she was in getting the Snapring Tire Savers to me for our motorhome. Most impressive was her PERSONAL follow-up via email. These tire savers are the best. Extremely easy to put on and take off and they fit the tire like they were custom fit. I'm a happy camper and an even happier customer. Thanks etrailer!

by:

I am new to RVing and I wanted to get tire protectors so the sun would not damage them in storage. I had the size of the tire when I contacted the company and a very professional customer service rep advised me on what he thought I would need. They are perfect and easy to put on when I park it. Thanks so much for your help.

by:

A year sitting in the sun and still looking good. A great easy on/easy off way to protect the tires.

by:

I gave a set of 4 Snap Ring tire covers for my husband for Father's Day. They are great! It was a surprise. I had no trouble with ordering on the website; there was good information that allowed me to buy the right size, right product etc. etrailers shipping was fast and service was good.

by:

This is an excellent product in that the installation process is so easy. No struggling with cords or bungees. Easy on and easy off. This is my second set of tire savers I used this same product on my previous RV and they were still in good condition after 9 years of use. I gave this set to the new owner of that RV. I expect the same or better service life from the current set of tire savers. Truly a great way to protect your RV tires from the harmful effect of sunlight.

These wheel covers are made with a good heavier grade of vinyl. I've yet to find anything that matches the quality for the cost. In fact this is the third pair I've purchased. One of my concerns was if they, (this 33"-35") variety would be wide enough to handle the 33/12.50-15" Michelins I have. I'm happy to report they in fact do! As evidence, please refer to the picture I snapped the other day in the garage. Thanks for a quality and affordable product etrailer!

by:

I received them pretty quick. They seam a little thin. But time will tell. They do go on real easy and stay where you put them. It's nice you don't have to hook anything behind the tire.

by:

We have been using the Tire Saver covers for about a year and are very happy. We put the covers on before leveling to allow as much room as possible between the wheels and RV wheels wells. We each do a side and it only take a couple minutes to install. Removing them is just as easy and I stack three into one making them easy to store. I wish they had a cover. Maybe Deb can make us one.

by:

So far so good. The tire covers have held up well for the first year. I would recommend this product. I thought they were a little over priced but if they continue to perform well, say for 3 to 4 years that’s fine.

by:

Well, I received the wheel covers yesterday at our daughter's home.
I just finished installing them.
It was easy. On our 2008 Fleetwood Bounder Turbo Diesel the air ride switch must be engaged to auto for enough room to cover the rear wheels otherwise not enough toom to get my hands in there between the fender and the top of the tires.
Other than that they fit perfectly with no bungees to be concerned with lying on the ground to install.
We will see how long these survive the AZ high desert !
The vinyl and felt material is nice.
Thank you.
Time is the test, along with the AZ heat and dryness.

AFTER ONE YEAR ON THE OREGON COAST WITH WIND AND RAIN, BLAZING SUN, THE TIRE COVERS ARE STILL LOOKING LIKE NEW AND PROVIDING THE PROTECTION I WANT FOR OUR RV TIRES.

by:

Wow, really fast shipping and this is our second set of these and other set not worn out but dirty and my health will not allow me to do this and such a decent price I just ordered and new set as getting trailer worked on since the last hail storm so needed some things replaced and a great time to put new covers on tires when it gets back home. This is the best covers I have ever used, no crawing under the trailer and for an old guy like me, the Best. Thank You etrailer for another great product. Bob

by:

The covers are perfect!
Easy on, easy
off.
Very easy to store as well.
Cleaning is breeze, rinse & dry.
Very satisfied & would buy again if needed.

See what our Experts say about this Covercraft RV Tire Covers

  • Recommended Tire Covers For Snowmobile Trailer In Northeast United States
The tire covers we offer are constructed with vinyl, which can become hard when facing extreme weather like you see in the Northeast part of the United States. I recommend finding a cover that has other material used with vinyl to help keep it more pliable, yet retain the water-resistant feature vinyl provides. For that reason I recommend covers like the Covercraft TireSavers. For tires that are 19 to 22 inches diameter I recommend part # ST7006WH. These are a vinyl cover but they have...

  • Where Are the Adco Tyre Gard RV Wheel Covers Made
The Adco Tyre Gard RV Wheel Covers for 18" to 22" Wheels are made overseas. If you're looking for USA made wheel covers I recommend SnapRing TireSavers Tire Covers. The part # ST7006BK for black or part # ST7006WH for white are both made in USA options designed for 19" to 22" wheels. I have attached a full list of USA made tire cover size options.

  • Recommended Spare Tire Covers For 20.5x8x10 Tires On a Pop Up Camper
I recommend using white tire covers like the SnapRing TireSavers # ST7006WH for the ground tires and the Spare Tire Cover # 290-1760 if you have a spare with your popup. Another thing you can do is use 2 sets of the Andersen Camper Wheel Chock and Leveler # AM3604 to raise the tires off the ground. This will eliminate the ground contact which can also degrade the tires while in storage.
