Do I Need to Uninstall the Wiring to Use the 6 and 7-Way Trailer Connector Mounting Box, 2-1/2
Question:
Do you have to unwire and then rewire an existing female connector socket to install it in this mounting box? My socket was never attached to my motorhome, just left hanging from a zip tie from the frame.

No, you will not have to uninstall and then reinstall the wiring on your current 6-Way or 7-Way wiring harness to use the Trailer Connector Mounting Box part # 18159.
