Recommended Air Ride Pin Box for Smoother Ride to Replace Lippert 1621 HD
Question:
What is the best pin box to replace LIPP 1621 HD. Ive been told the Sidewinder hitches cannot be used with mine but was not sure about anything else. Looking to improve ride quality. Took a long trip on some bad roads I95 in SC was terrible! and my XLR 395 amp took a beating and so did we! I know nothing will take it all out but some less would be great.

You are correct that the Curt Q-series hitches cannot be used with a Sidewinder or any pin box that rotates. This is because of the spherical axial bearing for the pivoting head.
For an air ride coupler I suggest the 5th Airborne Premium # RP78FR. The 5th Airborne has an air spring for a high-quality, comfortable ride.
