Thule or Yakima Cargo Box for my 2014 Acura MDX w/ Factory Flushed Rail and Thule ARB53 I have 2014 Acura MDX w/ Factory Flushed Rails. I installed Thule ARB53 with 460R foot at the fixed location of the rails. I am shopping for a cargo box but I cant decide which cargo box is the biggest and largest I can get. The concern I have is the antenna and the rear hatch door clearance. Since the rack crossbars are installed at fixed location, I think I can only move the cargo box marginally. What are the list of cargo boxes from Yakima or Thule I can get? These are the cargo boxes I am looking at: Yakima SKYBOX 16 CARBONITE Yakima SKYBOX 18 CARBONITE Thule Force L Thule Force XL Thule Pulse L

Here's how you will pick out the biggest cargo box for your 2014 Acura MDX with a Thule roof rack. Measure from the center of the front crossbar back to the hatch seam on the roof. That is how much front clearance you have. If that number is larger than what the box you want has it will fit and clear.

The Yakima Skybox NX 16 # Y95AV requires 47 inches.
The Yakima Skybox 18 # Y07336 requires 57 inches.
The Thule Force # TH6357B requires 47-1/2 inches.
The Thule Force XL # TH6358B requires 51-1/8 inches.
The Thule Pulse L # TH615 requires 46-3/8 inches.
