Availability of 5th Wheel Installation Kit for a RBW X-16 Hitch to Fit a 2011 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I have a 2011 1/2 ton chevy 51/2 foot box. I need a installation kit to install a rbw extender hitch. I believe it is a model x-16 it also has this information x 1001 crossbar hitch and x1010 mount bracket assembly. What I am looking for is the in bed rails and mounting brackets for them

I have found a solution for you. The RBW X-16 5th wheel will work with industry standard above bed rails.
For you 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, we have a couple of different rail kits that will work with the X-16 hitch. Reese has the Quick-Install Custom Base Rails, # RP56007-53. This rails kit will install faster and requires less drilling than universal kits.
Reese also has the Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit, # RP30035, available for Chevrolet. These rails include the industry standard rails that will allow your RBW hitch to mount to the bed of your truck. Although the universal rails are more economical than the custom-fit rail kit, this kit is more labor intensive and will likely require more drilling.
