Will Lid of MaxxAir MaxxFan part # MA00A04401K Leak Water if Lid is Closed
Question:
Hello I have a couple questions regarding the Maxxfans. For the 4401 model is an additional rain cover needed? Like if its raining and I just manually shut the lid will it leak? Also, do you have any input on how much fan power a 170wb Mercedes 2012 Sprinter van might need? Wondering how much use it would be to have one fan going as intake and another as exhaust to move air through the space. Was thinking of buying the Maxxfan 7500 as a main fan and then maybe the 4401 as a backup to really move air if needed. There is not much for windows. What do you think? Would the 7500 be enough on its own? Thanks! I look forward to purchasing from you guys, looks like yall get great reviews.

If the lid of the MaxxAir MaxxFan part # MA00A04401K was closed it would not leak any water inside your RV.
Honestly if you have one exhaust fan going and then can have the windows of your Sprinter down too you will move a healthy amount of air. That being said an additional vent would not necessarily hurt. You might try one and then possibly add a second if more is desired.
