Recommended Bunk Rollers And Hardware For 18.5 Foot Bass Boat

Question:

I was thinking I would get the three roller wide version for more support. Plus it has 12 rolls of 3. Do you think the one 5 ft section is enough for the 18.5 ft bass boat? Thanks for your response.

No, one 5 foot long section is not enough for the support of your boat unless you will be using a combination of rollers and bunk boards. The CE Smith Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers - 6 Rollers Each - 5' Long - 1,500 lbs - 1 Pair # CE27710 will work well for your 18.5 foot bass boat if you use 2 roller sections on each side. You can see a similar install in the video review I've attached.

You can use two 4 foot long sections on each side and still support your boat well. For that application, I recommend the Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunk - 4' Long - 10 Sets of 3 Rollers - by Dutton-Lainson # DL21740 or the CE Smith Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers - 5 Rollers Each - 4' Long - 1,500 lbs - 1 Pair # CE27700.

For these installations, I recommend using the CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies for Roller Bunks - Galvanized Steel - Qty 4 # CE10003G-4 along with the U-bolts # CE15283GA-4. This will give you everything you need for proper installation and support strength. I've attached videos to help.
