For a trailer hitch on your 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Round Tube Receiver Hitch # 75528. This is custom fit for your vehicle which means no drilling will be required during installation. Keep in mind that the fascia door panel will need to be removed during installation and it's possible that it will not be able to be reattached. Once installed, this 2 inch hitch opening will provide a 750 pound tongue weight capacity and a 5,000 pound towing capacity, although you will also want to check the vehicle's capacities as listed in the owner's manual. I have attached an installation video on your vehicle for you to check out.
If your Traverse does not have the factory tow package, I recommend using the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56181 to install a 4-way connector that is needed to power the trailer's signal lights.
Then for a ball mount, I recommend looking at the Curt Class III Ball Mount # C45036 with a 2 inch drop. I have also attached a link to our available ball mounts as well as a helpful article that explains how to choose the right one for your setup.
