Hitch Receiver Compatible with 2007 Honda Element SC

Hello I have a 2007 Honda Element SC. The notes say that the hitch will not fit the SC. Can I trim the bumper a little to make this fit?

We do in fact have confirmed hitch fits for the 2007 Honda Element SC that you can see on the linked page. The options are a 1-1/4-inch light-duty Class I hitch # C11699 and a 2-inch Class III hitch # e78KR from etrailer, which is the one I recommend for its higher capacity and broader compatibility with hitch-mount accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers.
