Manufacturers can change the wire colors at any time, so you want to test the wiring with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to make sure you find the right wires when installing wire harness.
We do have a chart that shows what color wires are typically found on a vehicle. For your Silverado Green is used for right turn and brakes, Yellow for left turn and brakes, Brown is for taillights, and Black is for ground.
