Parts Needed to Install Prodigy P3 Electric Brake Controller in 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Im new to all this. Buying my first trailer for my atvs in a few weeks. It comes with electric brakes. Im interested in the p3. My truck did not come with the factory brake controller. Every option I see to buy says under the title highlighted with factory brake controller. How do I get this for without factory brake controller and whats needed to install?

Your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 may not have the factory electric brake controller but it will have the factory tow package that includes the 7-way trailer connector at the rear. This is good news because all you'll need to install the Prodigy P3 # 90195 is the custom wiring harness # 3016 that plugs in under the dash of your truck.
