Does Trailer Wiring for 2007 Mitsubishi Raider Sense Varying Voltage for Brake Light Activation

Question:

I have a few questions about the 118323 combined lights and brakes 4 way connector harness for my 2007 Mitsubishi Raider. 1. Is the brake lights intensity changed based on the amount of power going to the brakes? 2. Description indicates that brake lights and actuator and turn signals are on the same wire. Do the turn signals alter the brake power with the flashing of the turn signals? 3. How is the controller in the vehicle wired for brakes? Thanks for answering the dumb questions, but I want to put brakes on my currently brakeless trailer. Thank You

The trailer wiring harness part # 118323 that you referenced is the correct harness for your 2007 Mitsubishi Raider. It does not have a converter on the harness though so that indicates that it picks up a stoplight circuit directly from the harness and the vehicle does not use variable voltage for stoplight activation. That style of taillight circuit is referred to as multi-plexed.
