Drawbar Recommendation with 5 Inches of Rise for 2012 Honda Civic with Draw-Tite Hitch Receiver
Question:
Vehicle: 2006 - 2015 Honda Civic Sedan I am going to purchase Code: C11391, Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, Class 1, 1-1/4inch tube. The recommended drawbar is Code: 3593, Drawbar 2-1/8inch Rise. From customer installation photos the installed centerline of the receiver is about ±10” from pavement. My bottom of trailer tongue is 16” from pavement with trailer body dead level. Would a different drawbar height be recommended?

The Curt # C11391 is confirmed to fit your 2012 Honda Civic. Once installed the measurement you'll want to use is from the inside top of the receiver tube which on our install was about 11 inches. You'll want to compare those 11 inches with the distance from the ground to the bottom of your trailer's coupler.
A better drawbar for your Civic is the Curt # C45028 that will give you a 5 inch rise. For a hitch ball use either the 1-7/8 ball # C40001 or the 2 inch ball # C40018. whichever is appropriate for your trailer. Then for a pin and clip use # F-4.
