Although bracket is damaged. Will this product be a direct plug and play?

The harness you referenced is for a Lexus vehicle and would not be correct for your 2012 Toyota Tacoma. For a replacement that does fit your vehicle you would want the part # 74682.
As long as the harness is in tact this will work fine. It comes with a new bracket as well.
