I checked the owner's manual for the 2011 Nissan Armada and at the very least it states the tongue weight capacity of the vehicle is 650 pounds. So you could install a trailer hitch that is rated higher than the one you have such as # 13188. This hitch is rated for 600 pounds tongue weight and 6,000 pounds gross trailer weight. When used with weight distribution it is rated for 1,000 pounds tongue weight and 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight. But you are still limited to the vehicle capacities as stated in the owner's manual.

The manual also states that if the trailer is over 5,000 pounds then you need to use weight distribution. To choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.

Based on the tongue weight of the trailer you mentioned, 528 pounds, I recommend a system rated up to 600 pounds tongue weight, # RP66558. This system also comes with built-in sway control and the only other part needed is a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286. I have linked a video review of this system for you and a link to our help articles on weight distribution and determining tongue weight.
