Availability of 7-Way Connector Shorter than 7 Feet
Question:
Does Draw-Tite or anyone make a shorter version of the 20027?

I have some options for you, but unfortunately I could not find a 7-Way 5th wheel/gooseneck wiring Connector Loop shorter than the Draw-Tite # 20027. I recommend simply looping up any excess and wrapping a zip tie # DW05727-25 around it to adjust it to a shorter length.
If your tow vehicle has a 7-way at the bumper that uses a US-Style car connector, another option is to install a 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Harness in line by using the Curt # C56000. This will provide you with a 7-way connection in your truck bed with the wires running through the inside of your bed-side body, protecting any excess wire from exposure.
A final option is to buy separate parts to create a shorter 7-Way Connector Cable. You can connect the Optronics 7-Way Trailer End # A7WCB to the 7-Way Vehicle End # 50-87-004 that has a shorter 4 foot cable.
