Availability of Just 7-Way Socket from Part # HM42190
Question:
I purchased a in bed 7 Blade T connector about 1 year ago. first time i hauled fire wood in it a chunk my buddy threw in broke the cover off the in bed connector. This week I ordered a HM42190 to replace the bumper cover that broke 42145 I felt the Endurance cover might hold up better since it looks and feels heavier. Since it had a pig tail and looked similar to the connector in the Bed I pulled the pig tail off of that and test fit it to the HM42190 and it Fit. Is there a way I can get a HM42190 without the pig tail so I can also replace the socket in the bed? If not I guess i can just order the 42190 again and not use the pig tail. I have to say the items Ive ordered from E-trailer in the past have come and installed as advertised. I was a little disappointed in the 42145 bumper cover as that only lasted about 6 months and one day plugging in the trailer in single digit temperatures it was done. I have high hopes for the Endurance cover hopefully it lasts like it looks to be built.
