Recommended A-Frame Jack Based On Retracted Clearance And Height From Bracket To Top Of Jack

Question:

Im looking for an A-frame leg jack. This one is very close to what I need:TJDA-5000S. However it is too tall truck tailgate will hit the top of the jack. Do you have one that isnt as tall, but also doesnt hang below the mount plate any further this one at around 7inch is ideal, any lower and it will drag on the floor. Thanks

The dimensions you are asking for are difficult to find. For lifting ability, you normally will have to give on clearance on the top or bottom of the mounting plate. I've found a couple options for you, but your capacity needs will need to be considered along with the height clearances.

For a 3,000 lb capacity, we have the Bulldog Square, A-Frame Jack - Fixed Leg - Topwind - 15" Lift - 3,000 lbs, # BD195321. This jack has a retracted height of 7-3/8 inches and a top clearance of 14-11/16 inches. With this jack I recommend the Bulldog Square, 17-3/4" Tall Drop Leg with Pin - 3,000 lbs to 5,000 lbs, # BDDF3500.
