Recommended Roof Rack For 2009 Dodge Journey With OEM Siderails

I have a 2009 Dodge Journey with the factory installed roof rack. I would like to install a 154lb roof top tent, what Thule cross rails would you recommend?

We have a couple Thule roof racks that will work with the roof side rails you have on yoru 2009 Journey.

The roof rack with a square bar option I recommend is the Thule system consisting of the 53 inch SquareBars # TH712400 and Evo raised rail feet # TH710401

We also have a Thule roof rack that has a more aerodynamic crossbar that will also work. This is the Thule WingBar roof rack. The aerodynamic shape of the bars cut down on wind noise and drag. This roof rack also has a 165-lb weight capacity. To order this roof rack you will need either part # TH711420 or part # TH711400 for the bars and part # TH710401 for the feet.

If you mean you want to carry a 154-lb tent on the roof top you may be interested in a roof basket for the roof rack.
